I was born and raised in Hereford, I live in the city centre and understand the issues that affect and concern local people.
I have worked in learning support for over 10 years, 7 years at the College for the Blind, 3 years as manager of the disabled students study support centre. I am an engagement worker for Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, getting children to be active outdoors and to have an interest in the natural world.
I am a member of the Hereford Community Clean up Group and take part in litter picks and recycling initiatives. I am a Green Liberal Democrat and believe that fighting climate change and protecting the natural environment for future generations should be at the heart of all policy making. I have joined the Railway station adoption scheme and work with other volunteers, to improve the condition of the station.
I am a member of the Royal Air Forces Association, as I am from an RAF family. I support the work they do to support veterans and families.
I am a keen cyclist and have long campaigned for improvements to our cycle infrastructure. I was a member of the Greenway steering group, for the Connect 2 cycle bridge project. I am a Sustrans volunteer and campaign to achieve better bus.
