Protect Ross Library

Herefordshire Council is again looking for around £8 million of savings in 2016/17.

Ross library is under threat of closure as Government cuts in funding affect the County Council’s spending.

The County Council has proposed ways of saving money - one of these is the axing of Ross library.

Councillor Caroline Bennett said “ the library is a vital part of Ross on Wye and must be protected."

We the undersigned oppose the closure of Ross library. We believe the valuable services it provides are vital to the wider community of Ross & must be maintained.
