Herefordshire Liberal Democrats have chosen Jeanie Falconer as their prospective parliamentary candidate for the North Herefordshire seat at the General Election on May 7th.
Jeanie Falconer was selected following a meeting of local party members and will fight the seat currently held by Conservative MP Bill Wiggin.
Jeanie Falconer has lived in Bishops Frome for the last ten years with her husband and children, where she runs Frome Valley Wines.
Jeanie Falconer told us "I live in the constituency, my husband grew up in the area and this is where we have brought our children to put down their roots. Living here and using local services have given me a good understanding of our county and the issues we all face on a daily basis. I am outraged by the neglect of rural areas and, if elected, that is where I will focus my energies."
(Jeanie Falconer congratulated by (L to R) selection chairman Barry Ashton and Councillor Terry James)
