Herefordshire Liberal Democrats
The Liberal Democrats are different. Unlike the other parties, we are a democratic organisation, where our members decide our policy and elect our leader.
In Herefordshire we have our own local party (Herefordshire Liberal Democrats), made up from people all across Herefordshire. We are independent and work hard for the people of Herefordshire. We aim to give local people a voice and a hand in deciding how our neighbourhoods are run.
In the Coalition Government, we worked to build a stronger economy in a fairer society, enabling everyone to get on in life. We gave 24 million people a £700 income tax cut, created 1.7 million jobs and helped 1.6 million apprentices.
Where we are
Our office is at 54 St. Owen Street, Hereford, HR1 2PU. It is opposite the well-known Barrels pub. There is a small amount of on-street parking nearby. The office is open from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
What goes on in the office?
It is the centre of our activity and we use it for meetings including our weekly coffee morning on Wednesday, committee meetings and the Jo Grimond discussion group.
We have a variety of I.T and printing equipment which we use to design and produce much of our own literature. We are also able to offer this service to members of the public and local community groups.
Most importantly, we have a kitchen area where refreshments are always available and members are very welcome to drop in at any time.
